What does the participation fee include?

Included in the participation fee

• the whole program
• coffee/tea and a small sweet during the break

Is lunch included in the participation fee?

Lunch is at your own expense, i.e. it is not included in the participation fee.

When does registration have to be paid for?

After registration, you will receive an invoice by e-mail, which must be paid within 7 days. Please note that your registration will only be confirmed after payment.

How do we allocate places incase we ran out of places?

If we have to limit the number of participants in the entire event, places will be allocated in order of arrival of confirmed registrations.

There are more limited places for the evening reception. If we have to limit the number of participants in the evening reception, the places to participate will be distributed in order of arrival of confirmed registrations among those participants who have answered on the registration form that they will participate in the evening reception.

Can I participate in only part of the program or only on another day?

You can participate in different program parts freely. However, we do not offer the option with a partial participation fee.

Can I watch the program remotely?

We will update the programme (coming soon) with the program sections that can be followed remotely.

Am I entitled to a member discount?

You are entitled to a membership discount if you are a member of one of the organizing societies. We reserve the right to check your membership in the membership register of each organizing society.

Am I entitled to a student discount?

You are entitled to a student discount if you are an undergraduate student. We reserve the right to check your student status upon registration. Dissertation researchers / graduate students are not entitled to a student discount.

Do chairs and presenters of the sessions have to register?

Yes, chairs, organizers and presenters of sessions must also register for the conference and pay the participation fee. The participation fee enables the organization of Urban Studies Conference.
